Custom “Recessed” AZEK Solid Cellular PVC Mounting Block for the 4-inch
DryerWallVent. Details: 8.25 x 8.25 x 1 inch with a 4.25” I.D. hole in the center and two drilled holes for mounting screws, white. This mounting block features a half inch recess and is used as a “stop” for lap siding or stucco when it is appropriate.
After the house wrap is applied, attach the mounting block over the dryer ducting hole with appropriate flashing and mount with corrosion resistant screws. After exterior paint is complete, attach the wall vent to the mounting block with an exterior polyurethane sealant or small stainless steel screws. The AZEK Solid Cellular PVC Mounting Block can be painted to match either the home’s exterior wall or the DryerWallVent, using exterior paint that will adhere to vinyl.
Can also be used with the
DryerWallVent No Collar version.
