Excellent Product. Exactly what we needed.

Received quickly after ordering. Solidly built, closes firmly and doesn't "flap" in heavy wind. Far better than aluminum or plastic wall vents. Will be easy to insert vacuum hose to remove lint from vent pipe. It does not make an airtight seal however, (aluminum vents with flapper don't seal either) so I don't yet know it will be in the winter. Good product, would buy again.

I had been looking for a vent cover that would last and not let birds in. This is it. I have install several of these for customers and one of my one and they have worked great.

Was getting tired of the "regular" exhaust fan vents degrading and falling apart, picked up a pair of these for replacements and work like a charm. No more banging when it's windy or critters getting in through broken flaps!

great product but the collar is to big to fit inside the 4" duct and to small to fit over the 4" duct pipe

I purchased this product after my Great Pyrenees puppy decided to eat 3 different versions of dryer vents, from plastic to metal. The product was easy to install and is solid quality. And best of all the dog has not touched it.

Would like to say my order was shipped in a timely manner. I installed 2 of them in a short time. They solved my problems with trying to find a replacement for a J channel siding box vent.

This product appears to be better built then most vents I've researched. Installation was relatively easy and so far this vent has worked flawlessly. The only improvement would be a total seal around the inside edge to keep most bugs from crawling inside during extended none use.

Great product, great price. We installed into an outside wall and it just slipped easily (but snug enough that it stays put) into a 4" PVC pipe. I plan to clean the vent every six months and I can simply pull the vent out of the PVC, check for lint build-up, then push it right back into the PVC. Ordered the right color that matched our stone. Looks great!

Just installed. Installation was very easy. The vent looks great. Only disappointment is that the wind can occasionally open the vent. Overall much better than the plastic louver that was there.

This wall vent is very well made. I was hoping that it would not be effected by the wind but it was. I called the company and they sent me out a sound damper and extra magnets to solve the problem at no charge. We just had a windy day and the damper and magnets did the trick. Thank you very much!

This is the 6th time I have bought this product. Never had a problem. They look to have done a slight revision , I think it is now even better made

Great product and customer service. Little more complicated that the video. Be careful when taking the old one off not to dislodge the conduit stretching to the inside connection:)

The DryerBox vent replaced a Leigh Aluminum vent that was installed when the house was built in 1968. It was mortared in during the original brick construction. The little aluminum hinges wore out. It took a little gentle work with a hammer and chisel to flatten the surface around the original tube. The DryerBox Vent tube then fit snugly in the original tube. Silicone was used to fasten the DryerBox and caulk the perimeter. It has worked flawlessly. I am very pleased with the ease of installation and the operation. It saved me from having to crawl about 60 feet in the crawl space. I was able to install it completely from outside.

I haven’t installed it yet but it looks like it’s a very good quality vent. This is more durable than the flimsy vents you will find at the big box retailers or other online sites. I do have some reservations on where seams are located on the vents external facing surfaces. I will have to use chalking to seal them off from water ingress, which hopefully won’t effect the low resistance flap from seating properly.

Quality and construction are very nice as advertised. The major shortfall was that the collar on the unit did not fit over the outside of the standard exhaust duct/pipe but instead slide inside. Not a very good engineering design because now the lint has a lip that lint can build up on. I will now have to periodically inspect the assembly to ensure there is no excessive buildup of lint. Because of the good quality construction I went ahead and installed it against my better judgment. This will also test the quality of the powder coating. Hopefully in the future the engineers will redesign the collar to fit the outside diameter.

I was looking for an attractive vent that would also be discreet, and this vent is perfect for me. The metal construction and well-designed door actually add to the appearance of the outside wall, instead of standing out as a bit of utiltarian ugliness, as others I've seen would have. I am well satisfied with my purchase. Definitely worth the cost.

I bought two of these; one for my dryer vent and one for the bathroom fan. Flap assembly is of very good quality, much better than the knockoff of it available at Lowes. Drilled a 4 1/8" hole in the wall and that fit the collar perfectly. I do think it would work a little better if the collar was a little longer. I ended up attaching a short collar extension to it before screwing it into the wall. Still, that is a minor issue for the quality of the unit at this price point. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this vent in Dec 2014 and have had it installed since January. It works great and provides an excellent looking vent compared to the cheap plastic or metal vents from the big box stores. I installed this on a older home that did not have a dryer vent at all. It was easy to install. I like the sturdy construction. This vent faces the eastern sun on my house and takes the beating from the weather. I wanted a vent that could withstand the weather. It opens and closes just as advertised. I have an eight foot dryer vent run with two elbows and it still opens up more than enough force. It stays closed and nothing gets into the vent pipe.

Very well constructed easily installed prompt delivery easily tracked all the way.We bought the scratch and dent model,was surprised it only had minor surface paint marring. Thank you Don

My old wall vent cap was made of plastic and mounted on a south facing wall. In just a few years it crumbled, and I decided to replace it with this heavy gauge dryer wall vent. It's well built, but the flap is too heavy for my dryer. It remains shut at all times. I've removed the magnets, hoping that would resolve the problem. It didn't. What I didn't know and is buried deeply on the website is that the vent requires 70 cfm to open, so unless your dryer meets this standard, it won't work.
