DryerJack Large Roof Vent
6" Collar, Mill Finish
Details
Unlike other roof vents, this lightweight damper is curved, which increases the efficiency dramatically. The opening is about 15% larger than the round pipe portion and with the curved damper, there is minimal restriction. The collar penetrates the plate about 3 inches and is sealed to the plate with a silicone bead.
Note: Not recommended for use with a very high-profile roof tile like true Spanish Barrel as there are only 5 inches between the opening and the bottom plate. With the slope on the damper and the smooth surface, the vent/damper should make it difficult for a bird to build a nest. This vent is proudly made in the USA.
We do not guarantee this roof mounted fitting will prevent rain water intrusion from wind-blown rain or torrential storm conditions.
Professional installation is recommended.

Just installed and couldn't be happier! I am using it with a soler palau TD150S inline exhaust fan and a Fantech backdraft damper. This combination works flawlessly I had to fabricate a screen to keep critters out but that was no problem the only down side is that I wish would come pre painted but over all I am very happy with the product and would recommend it.
Gooseneck roof vent with 6-inch collar

It's well made and a good design. I have not installed it yet, partly because I'm putting it on a tin roof where there is only 7 1/4 inch wide flat area. This unit is 8 inches square, which gives more square inch space than the 6-inch round duct needs. A six-inch square base would have been big enough. I would have preferred to have a vent of this with the square part only six inches square. That would have been much easier to install.
Great Product

I just built an attached third car garage. I wanted an efficient vent that would work with my low-slope roof. This one met all the requirements and works great. It has a flapper inside to keep the critters out too. I had difficulties finding the proper 4" to 6" increaser and ended up using a type-B increaser. Make sure you buy an increaser and not a reducer. Overall I'm very happy with this product and the installation was a breeze (even for a first timer).
