This Tan wall vent is unlike anything else on the market. It features a powder coated galvanized metal frame and a lightweight damper that is innovatively a huge deterrent to birds and creates zero back pressure.
Works perfectly for new construction but was designed for ease in retrofitting the old inefficient legacy hooded vents.

Efficient: Without question, vent hood design or lack of, clearly remains the leading offender of inefficient back pressure levels in the dryers’ exhaust conduit. Actual laboratory test best demonstrate the range of back pressure levels that popular wall vents create. Values above .60 water column inch are considered in the industry as excessively restrictive. Values below .20 water column inch are considered very efficient.
The Dryer Wall Vent’s restriction coefficient is lower than any other wall vent we’ve tested. Less restriction in a dryer vent delivers real savings to your monthly energy bill.
Damper: Dryer vent hoods come in multiple styles. The objective of a vent hood for the dryer is basically two fold; prevent back drafts and prevent bird or rodent entry as well as nest building. In-O-Vate Dryer Products met those objectives with a well-engineered lightweight damper that
• Mitigates the ability for a bird to open the damper
• Provides no Air-flow restriction
• And is easily accessible to duct cleaners
Design: The Dryer Wall Vent collar is sized to fit snuggly within the standard 4” seamed pipe. This feature becomes an advantage to installers and DIY's when retrofitting this vent but also accommodates new construction. Outside frame dimensions are 6.5" x 6.5". Damper 30 ga. Frame/Body 26 ga.
Material: Sun and weather take a toll on plastic and PVC vents, and the typical aluminum hooded vents dent and deform easily. The stylish Dryer Wall Vent body is constructed out of Paint Grip (Bonderized) steel, then washed and powder coated to achieve an excessively weather tolerant and strong uni-body. Screw holes are hidden behind the damper but the preferred means of securing the wall vent is a nice bed of Polyurethane Window and Door Sealant between the vent and the wall surface.
The Dryer Wall Vent works with lap siding, stucco, brick and many other conventional sidings. The non powder coated hinge pin is aluminum to offer total corrosion-free protection.
